Important Notice
The Good News
We were made aware that since moving to Stripe e-checks were processing at 2.75% like a credit card. We have corrected that.
The Bad News:
Stripe processes e-checks at 0.80% with a max fee of $5. For example, a $200 e-check will accrue a fee $1.60 where a $2,000 e-check will accrue a fee of only $5. We are working on correcting the Generush system to reflect this fee when donors cover the fees.
More Good News:
We will be issuing refunds to the organization for those e-checks that were processed at 2.75%. The refund difference will be between the 2.75% and the 0.80% Stripe charges. Those will be sent starting 1/14/22 and you should see those settled in your account in 3-4 business days.
